About Lotta
Art has been the a part of Lotta's life since she was a young child. She began with classes that a neighbour offered, and by the time she was in high school, her creative talents had earned her several art awards and scholarships to continue on with her education as an artist.
Lotta finds a way to express art in everything. She enjoys experimenting with many different mediums and techniques, working on anything from murals, oil painting, acrylic, watercolour, and even furniture.
Lotta feels that "art is good for you" and really enjoys helping others embrace their own creativity, often that they didn't realize was within them.
Why Classes?
Lotta believes art is good for you! The classes at the Art with Lotta studio have students ranging from ages 2 to 94, and at every level from beginner to advanced. Her motto is “forgive yourself before you begin and just enjoy just enjoy the process however it goes”.
Art offers many positive opportunities for children including collaboration, observation of positive habits, behaviours and attitudes, learning something new and taking small steps to grow with art.
For adults, art can offer a valuable opportunity to de-stress as well as offer an outlet for self expression which is often lacking in our busy lives.
